Dear Dr. Craig Hogan:

Thank you very much for your taking trouble of replying to my mail.

Of course, anything which is inherent in us cannot be removed. It is what makes flowers in so many colors. I think it is what emerges in the universe, as you said. What matters is man-made standards or dualism. Some religion seems to be man-made. It is ridiculous, as in that religion, those who do not believe in it are rejected. The truth or God or Universe you said is omni-present, as the sun rays exist everywhere. If we are not bothered with our concepts,in particular like stubborn belief in existence of self or ego, it is not neccessary to get hold on to anything. When we are released from concepts, we could enjoy freedom and comfort in life every moment. My meditation is therefore to get rid of any concept, eventually even the concept of self or the last desire left. This can be acccomplished only by practice or meditation but never by knowledge. But to my regret, I am still in the cage of self-interest.

I indeed thank you for continuing talk with me, Dr. Hogan.

Yours respectfully,
Tsukasa Sakai
