: What is all the fuss about Jesus?
: Either you hear what he said or not. Jesus is a signpost if anything to the greater reality. I must listen more carefully. I still have to eat and defecate. Be born and die. Suffer and enjoy. Kill or be killed. In a world which is illusory and impermanent. What's the fuss?

Malcolm:
I have asked myself this question frequently. I think the draw of Jesus is the idea of his being both human and devine. It is the age-old quest, to become higher, and Jesus seems to give us a "cheat" of sorts. If the Bible is read properly, however, the steps are the same as with any other path to enlightenment. No easy way out, no short cut home.
It may also be that Jesus seems, in a way, more flawed than many other spiritual leaders. He is not at peace with himself (according to legend) or his path. He is stubborn, and human, and conflicted. There's a comfort in that, I think.

These are just theories, but I do find myself drawn to the story of Jesus in a way I can't fully understand or explain.

Any use?
