Hello Yongwon,

You asked whether there is any indication that the afterlife applies to everyone. Oh yes. All of them say that. There is no doubt of that, and no suggestion that there's a hell thing or that some people don't have a universal consciousness.

The notion that some people are worthy and others are not comes out of primitive, tribal notions about humanity that have one tribe as the ascendant and all others as subservient. My tribe is good and theirs is bad. I can kill members of their tribe because our tribe is most important. It's a primitive concept that people made their gods embrace. And so the notion that some people are chosen and will have eternal life and others are damned came into being. It's an awful, immature idea that humankind is slowly growing out of.

Those in the afterlife all say that everyone lives eternally and grows spiritually. We learn to understand that we are not separate, and eventually we have such closeness to all others that we no longer have desires for self or selfishness.

That's difficult for us to imagine and we don't like it because we want our pleasure and our place. We want to feel we're going to get material things throughout eternity. But that's still spiritually immature. As long as we want for ourselves and not others, and as long as we see ourselves as separate from others who could have wants over theirs, then we're still on a lower plane of understanding and development.

But every person, from the worst and cruelest living today or in the past, to the noblest and most giving, is on a place on their spiritual development that will continue through eternity. No one judges us. We judge ourselves. We grow by seeing what we've done that has hurt others or given others bliss, and we learn to be more selfless through the experience. A cruel person will, in the afterlife, experience the pain others felt by reliving the cruel, painful experiences through their point of view. But the motive isn't retribution or punishment. There is no such thing in the afterlife. The motive is that the person will grow beyond who they are and be more loving and kind.

Yes, eternal life is for everyone. We can't give it away. We can't harm it. We can't stop it. It is a path we all travel toward become spiritually evolved and blissful in eternity.

Love and peace, Craig
