Hello Peace,Any description that has time in it doesn't fit the greater reality. That creates a real problem for us because we're time bound. And so, our vocabulary and our conceptualizations are all thoroughly permeated by time.
We're also bound by our current Earth conceptualizations. Here, there are beginnings and endings. And so we assume the greater reality must have beginnings and endings somehow.
However, that's not the case, and since we're time bound and earth bound, we'll never really understand that. Our sight of understanding extends only to the horizons of our ability to conceptualize and verbalize, and that is limited by our place in the greater reality as people clothed in bodies on Earth.
And so, we can't talk about the "beginning" of the spirit world. Perhaps this existence is just one of an unending string of existences in which we all play parts through an infinite number of characters. Perhaps (just to show the possibilities) we go through an infinite number of Earth periods and we eventually play the part of every person who has ever existed. I've always wanted to be in Elizabeth I's court. Perhaps I will be; perhaps I have been; perhaps I've been Elizabeth!
But that's not to suggest we really do play the parts of everyone who ever existed in this and an infinite number of universes through eternity. It's just to show how very limited our time-bound and Earth-bound view of existence are.
And so, it's not really meaningful to talk about the spirit world beginning 4.5 billion years ago when the solar system formed, or 13.7 billion years ago when this universe was formed, or a billion billion billion Earth years ago, or whenever. We do know that there are old souls who have been through many incarnations on this Earth plane and that there are young souls. What that means, we just can't comprehend.
Love and peace, Craig
