The two best books to date are

1. Robert Crookall's The Supreme Adventure. He summarized what he learned from hundreds of mediums.

2. David Fontana's Is There an Afterlife? is the most complete description of all of the areas that demonstrate evidence of the afterlife and psychic abilities. It's a large book that has research from a great variety of authorities.
