: Hello Mansoor,

: I imagine you've heard of an inkblot test. A psychologist has someone look at a meaningless smear of ink and asks, "What do you see in the ink?" The person then describes whatever fits his perceptions. In so doing, the person is describing himself, not the ink blot.

: Many sayings or aphorisms are like that. The words have meaning individually, but when assembled must be interpreted by the reader. The more ambiguous the assembly of words, the more the person projects himself into the words.

: And so, the answer is that the meaning of "Let us love people who seek the truth, but avoid those who have found it," is whatever any reader interprets it to be. Describing the answer to the question, "What meaning does it have?" will provide a very clear profile of the person answering that question.

: Someone will say, "But there is only one Truth (capital T), so expressing that becomes the Meaning (capital M)." Well, humankind has been evolving toward civilization for 14,000 years, and with each generation, in each geographical area, within each nation, following each religion, the Truth has changed continually. Today, there are millions of "Truths," and in another generation, all of them will have changed to a million different Truths.

: Many naively feel the Truths they believe at this moment in time, in their culture, in their religion, in their nation ARE the everlasting, permanent Truths. But that's simply out of an ignorance about history and an arrogance taught by each society about its beliefs. No Truth has ever been found that applies to all people.

: That should tell us something. It should help us know that the Truths imposed upon people from outside of themselves are destined to be inappropriate--they won't fit.

: Then what can we look to as guidance for our lives? Nothing outside; we need to look inside. We need to experience rather than know. When I listen to the inner voice without fear, anger, and hate, it tells me about love. When I love, others love me as well and learn to listen to their inner voice telling them to love. When everyone listens to that and become lights shining their love, society becomes more loving.

: I haven't said that's Truth. It's an experience. The result of loving is love. When the love breeds more love, fear, anger, and hate dissipate. The effect is for people to be joyful, peaceful, patient, gentle, good, and loving. That then makes Paradise, and that's what we would all like to have.

: And so, for me, just me, whatever helps me to love others, love God, love myself, and love nature, is my Truth. I can accept your experience of what helps you love others, love God, love yourself, and love nature as your Truth. Your light shines before me and inspires me. Your Truth, although it is yours uniquely, warms me. I hope that when you see my actions and hear my words about my love for you, for God, for myself, and for nature, they warm you. That, then, is the Higher Good. Our individual Truths create the Kingdom of God.

: As to the statement, "Let us love people who seek the truth, but avoid those who have found it," my Truth is "Let us love everyone. Let us be tolerant of those who believe their Truth applies to all of humankind, but not allow it to separate us from God, from others, from ourselves, or from nature. If we do that, we will live in peace, and the warmth of that peace will kindle tolerance, understanding, and acceptance. All peoples' Truths, although very different, can lead to God or to ignorance."

: Love and peace, Craig
