Outside of the physical realm, there is no such thing as time. And the physical realm is only one of millions of planes of existence inhabited by all manner of peoples.
Whatever happens to our universe will not affect our eternal selves. We are outside of time. If the universe collapses into itself or disappears in a collision of matter and anti-matter or suffers any other catastrophe, our selves will simply be outside time blissfully going abour our affairs.
Nothing can harm the self. We are eternal and whole, always.
