I respond,
Everything we learn about the afterlife must be based on fact that we can verify. We have to look at the data and the way in which they were gathered. The reports from individuals who have visions or channel old souls or get mental medium impressions from the other side widely diverge in the facts they describe about the afterlife. That means the reports can't be verified by cross checking, rather like replicating a study. And so they simply aren't reliable sources of data as individuals.

No study of the afterlife can be performed without taking into account the recorded seances from physical mediums such as Leslie Flint and David Thompson. They are records of people now in the afterlife speaking about the afterlife and the individual's journey through eternity, and we have hundreds of them. Those who come through independently, at various times in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, speak quite consistently about the afterlife. In other words, the records are much like replicated studies: each description by a person there contains consistnt descriptions. They are the most reliable data we have.

The channelers and mystics and mental mediums, on the other hand, report widely diverging views of the afterlife, from Eastern-based descriptions of the forced cycle of reincarnation that ultimately ends in enlightenment and release into the vast ground of all being to Christian-based descriptions that have all the trappings of the Christian view of resurrection, judgment, and condemnation to hell or rewards in heaven. They just are all over the map in what they assert about the afterlife, and they most often reflect the biases of some religious system.

And so it isn't that we judge based on whether one spirit is better than another; we have to do it based on the data. The physical mediums have been tested thoroughly to verify that what comes through them is not from an Earthly source. That makes the recordings reliable. And with many reports from people living on the next planes of life coming through physical mediums independent of each other saying the same thing about reincarnation, we just have to stay with the most reliable data.

And they describe incarnations, not just on the Earth plane, but on other planes and spheres of existence, as the individual grows in spiritual maturity.
