Actually Kim, it isn't correct to speak about the "physical realm" and the "spiritual realm." The physical realm is a spiritual realm. It just happens that we who are talking about it are all on the same vibration, so we think it's different.

We don't leave the physical realm to go to the spiritual; we transition from this vibration of the spiritual realm onto another vibration of the spiritual realm.

The next vibration we experience will be much like this one because it would be a shock to our systems if we went into a vibration very different from what we're accustomed to. As a result, we will have a solid body just as we have on the Earth plane. If you look around at where you are right now, you could as easily be on another plane of life. The colors, solid feel, bodies, clothing, and all the rest appear exactly the same as what you experience of the Earth plane.

Think of it like this. The experience is reality. Our eternal selves, our minds, have the experience. We can have it in our daily waking life, or when we dream, or when we daydream. We can have it in a near-death experience or out-of-body experience when the body isn't involved. In other words, the experience exists aside from the body and this vibration we're on. Our minds enjoy the experience. But our minds can be vibrating on this plane or a million other planes. On any of those planes, we can have any experience because experiences are independent of the plane we're on.

So what we believe is "physical" is just an experience: seeing, smelling, tasting, touching, hearing, feeling emotion, feeling movement, and so on. When we have the experience on another plane, it's just as "physical," and it's our same eternal self having the experience there.
