Hi Kim,

Our life is unique in eternity. There are natural laws, beyond what we know on the Earth plane, and there are rules about living on a spiritual plane such as the Earth plane, but the things that we experience are unique to us. We have a personal relationship with the Source that no one else has. The universe exists for you.

That means that what happens during your stay in Earth school is tailor made for you. You are gently given love and counsel from the Source, your guides and helpers who are always there to help you through your life, and your loved ones, who are accessible to you. This life you are living is solely for you to learn and grow spiritually. You experience it with others in your soul group who are also learning in unique ways, but what happens for you will not match what happens for anyone else.

As a result, whether parts of your experience on the Earth plane are set up ahead of time or whether they happen as you go through the general setting you decided on depends entirely on what you and the Higher Power have worked out. From what we know from those living on the other planes of life, for some people, they choose their birth parents and some of the incidents in their lives before they incarnate onto the Earth plane. For others, they have general circumstances, such as being in poverty, being in a time filled with violence, and so on, but what happens then depends on the environment they're in. They learn lessons as challenges come up.

Whatever the choices we're making, we always have free will. We can choose not to learn the lessons. We can decide we don't want to meet the challenges. We decide once we're in the incarnation.

Now, within all of that, the plane we're on, such as the Earth plane, has rules or laws that we have to submit to. If you jump off of a cliff, you will fall on the rocks and die. If you eat too many Big Macs, you'll gain weight and have high blood pressure or diabetes and suffer from them. We make choices and we have consequences. those are the rules of our time on the spiritual plane we're on.

And so, yes, we can have a healthier, more pleasant, longer life if we follow the rules. That's part of the challenge. We have free will. Nothing is set up so regardless of what we want, we're destined to have something happen, such as gain weight and get diabetes. We choose to eat those Big Macs.

The most important things to realize is that we have a unique, personal life like no other, we do have rules and laws we can choose to obey or not obey and have the consequences, and we always have free will. We make the choices.

So if someone wants to drink a bottle of whiskey and eat pizzas every day and die of cirrhosis or diabetes at 35, that's their choice. If someone wants to eat healthily, exercise, and reduce stresses so they live to be 95, that's their choice. And within those lives, the person learns the lessons from challenges and circumstances that present themselves. In the end, only who we are in our mind or spirit makes a difference; that's all that lasts. Everything in the Earth realm is just scenery for the play. But we, the actors, go on to other plays regardless of how tragic or how comedic the play is.

Love and peace, Craig
