Hi Dr. Hogan,

I have permanant double vision as a result of nerve damage. I will look at something with both of my eyes open, and then when I close one eye I have to change my focus in order to see the same object. It is hard to describe, but is this an example of reality being based on consciousness? Even though the object is in the same place each eye sees it in a different place although what I see with either eye is real. I have learned that even though a persons eye's may not be normally aligned, double vision only occurs when there is nerve damage. Love, Kim
