It's just the next plane we enter. It's a plane where we're able to rest and withdraw from the Earth plane. There, we can consolidate our lessons and decide what to do next.
On that next plane, the environment is just like the one we've left here because we expect life to be like this. The Earth plane is a spiritual plane, and the next plane, which the Spiritualists call Summerland, is exactly like this plane, but without the negatives and much more pleasant surroundings. We need that time to wind down from the Earth plane.
However, there are millions of planes. Some are the Earth plane at different times in humankind's evolution. We have chosen to incarnate into this plane at this time with these conflicts because of something we felt we needed here. Humankind is creating the suffering we experience. It isn't a necessary part of the plane. And we've chosen to live a life at this time because of that suffering. We're learning some lessons we need to learn, and we've all chosen this Earth period in which to learn them.
After we've rested on the next, pleasant plane of life, we may choose to incarnate into Earth in the year 5011 CE or 1800 BCE or one of the other planes not even connected with the Earth. When we've learned lessons there, we have to suppose we'll come into another Summerland environment that is different from the one we'll enter after leaving the Earth plane.
What we hear about from those who have crossed over is the Earth 2011 Summerland. So descriptions sound very much like the Earth, without the drawbacks. But that's because it's what people coming from the Earth plane, whom we're in contact with because they're close to the Earth plane and remember and love us, are saying about the next plane of life. We have the impression that's Heaven or that's the afterlife, but it is neither. It's just where people who come from the Earth plane go at this time in Earth's evolution.
It's a resting place. That's why it's so pleasant. And the Earth plane in 2011 is a crucible of conflict. That's why people don't want to come back to it. They've gone through boot camp and don't want a second tour of duty.
