Hi Kim,

You asked, "When I hear from a doctor that a seizure is a change of consciousness is that just part of the picture?"

It just means the rules have changed in the physical realm. Your eternal self, the permanent "you," can't be damaged or changed by anything outside of your own free will. The rules in the physical realm are the framework in which we live while we're on the Earth plane. So if something happens to the brain, then the rules change. You perceive things differently in the physical realm. But that's just the limitations put on your eternal self while you're operating in the physical realm. It doesn't affect the self.

You wrote, "You have said that God is dreaming about us. Can it be assumed that His dream takes a different form than ours do?"

The concept that the physical realm is in the mind of God is just a metaphor we can understand. We know about the mind and dreaming, and the Source or Creative Power from which everything springs is more analogous to mind than anything else we can envision. So we use that clumsy analogy, but it isn't God, a person, having a dream. It's just that everything emerges from the Source, just as for us, in a dream everything emerges from our minds, including the person we are, the people we meet, the scenery, the emotions, and everything else in the dream. The dream emerges from us. The analogy is that everything emerges from the mind of God, but it's just a feeble analogy.

Amit Goswami said it best: "There is nothing but God."

Love and peace, Craig
