No. The Romans were ruthless. Crucifixions were utterly destructive. It's unlikely that they would have allowed a body to be taken away. They were left on the trees or crosses for the birds and animals to ravage. And after a crucifixion, especially with a pierced side, Yeshua couldn't have walked away.

The issue of what happened to the body isn't really relevant. What is important is that he appeared to his followers. That's why they experiences such a remarkable transformation from leaving Jerusalem in despondence to selling their belongings to move to Jerusalem to wait for Yeshua's return, and then being martyred insisting he had appeared to them.

For the Jews who believed in eternal life, the body was to be resurrected with the "soul." The issue of the body had to be taken care of in some way. We have no idea how it was taken care of.
