We are in soul groups. That means that someone you had a life experience before is engaged in one with you now. You might have been a husband or a daughter or an acquaintance with this person. And so, in a sense, we are soul mates, but not in the possessive sense most people talk about it. Possession is part of the Earth realm, and it continues in the next plane until people grow out of it, but our eternal selves are able to love many people, on many levels. Eventually, we can love all people equally. That is part of the progression in spiritual maturity.

You wrote, “On the day of his passing I felt him. Literally. I was lying down in bed and all of a sudden I had this rush of thoughts of him. He completely filled my thoughts. I could feel him.”

Yes, these experiences are real. Accept and enjoy them. They’re his way of saying “I haven’t left you. I’m around you and I’m fine.”
