Hello Kim,

Yes, Yeshua had a unique message for the 12 tribes of Judaism. He spoke in his context, but it was a message for humankind. Humankind wasn't ready. It was still tribal and warring. He spoke of peace and humankind still wages war in the twenty-first century. He spoke of being a servant to others and we still are engaged in the infinite pursuit of infinite wealth for ourselves. He spoke of unconditional love, yet we live in a world of separation and hatred. Very soon after he gave his message, it was corrupted and a mythological figure named Iesus was created by a church that had sprung up to control people by controlling their conception of spirituality. The letter "J" didn't come into the English language until the sixteenth century, and the name "Iesus" was changed to "Jesus." Humankind learned nothing from Yeshua's teachings, and still hasn't learned from them today.

You wrote, "If Yeshua came to bring peace to this world why do so many Christians denigrate politicians who talk about living in a civilized and united world?"

The Christian church has nothing to do with Yeshua bar Yosef, the Jewish rabbi who roamed the hills of the Galilee speaking to humble peasants and farmers. Christians today don't know that because they listen to the church without reading the fragments of Yeshua's words we have in the Bible. That's changing, but very slowly.

You wrote, "What is wrong with a world that needs no government? Why do we need national or state borders?"

Yeshua said that the Kingdom of Heaven is within. It is spread out upon the face of the Earth and men do not see it. He was saying that when we learn to live in servanthood, selflessly, focused on helping and providing for others, there will be no laws. There will be no need for government. There will be no separation by religion, nationality, race, ethnicity, or any other artificial categorization of people. We will love unconditionally, and be so focused on making sure everyone else's needs are taken care of that we won't have competition, insensitivity, cruelty, laws, prisons, money, and all of the other things that are necessary in a world of separation and self-absorption.

We're far from that now. But it is in humankind's future.

Love and peace, Craig
