Hi Kim,

Yes, you're very astute. We're avoiding the use of "death" and "dying" altogether because in English, they have the connotations of finality and separation. We refer to passing, transition, living without the body, spirit, next plane of life, and other words that show that this change is just a transition from one form of eternal life to another. There is no end, and no real separation, so the archaic name "death" is no longer appropriate.

You wrote, "I was thinking that when I experienced an NDE it wasn't that I was near death, but I just became conscious of a different reality that many people on this earth are not aware of. Am I thinking correctly?"

Yes, it is simply another reality. Even "afterlife" isn't appropriate. It implies that this Earth plane is life and what comes next is something after the real life. Actually, the Earth plane is just one of millions of planes. We're on a spiritual plane now. There's no "afterlife," just "life."

Love and peace, Craig
