Good morning Richard,

You don't need to be concerned about asking me questions. I understand what you're describing.

You wrote,
I was floating and then it was dark with many points of light and what appeared as distant illuminated clouds and the sensation of “oneness”. During that time I saw the Earth, blue and shrouded in clouds. I knew it was Earth but it felt more like an organism. Specifically, it felt like an organism that was sick and hurting and suffering a fever from an infection. I hope that doesn’t sound stupid or weird, but that was the experience.

I had a similar experience early on in my own awakening. I was driving from Chicago to Bloomington at night and saw a storm rising on the horizon far ahead of me, so I could see the cloud-to-cloud lightening but couldn't see strokes hitting the ground or hear anything. I had the feeling I was One with the universe and that the clouds and lightening were part of me. I described it as being about to enfold the entire universe in my arms.

That's the normal feeling of transcendence when anyone quiets the physical realm. Mystics have described it for millenia. It is not that you suddenly feel Oneness. It's that you feel what is there all the time, but the physical realm is too noisy and intrusive to allow you to feel it. When you quiet yourself, the physical realm recedes and the normal feeling of Oneness is felt. In other words, the feeling of Oneness or floating is the normal state. Focusing on the physical realm is the unusual or not normal state. Contemplatives or meditators accept it openly and sink into a remarkable feeling of peace, calm, and bliss. When you let the feeling come naturally, you'll experience that.

Something else that I became aware of this morning is that what I just did is potentially dangerous. How so, I don’t know, but I feel strongly that it can be. What’s your take on what I’ve related? Are there precautions one should take?

Oh no, quite the opposite. There's nothing dangerous about the greater reality. The danger is in the physical realm. Absolutely nothing in what you've experienced is dangerous. You'll come into increased compassion, calm, and bliss. You'll find you understand yourself and others better. I have called it "listening to the voice of God," but not "God" in the narrow monotheist sense that portrays God as an old white guy with a long beard on a mountain. This is the Universe, the Divine, the Higher Power, that is all love and compassion. You take your place at the right hand of the One, the Divine, when you quiet the physical realm and sink into the peace and bliss where the Divine is. That is listening to the voice of God.

If you feel any of the negative emotions (fear, anxiety, anger, depression, frustration, sadness), then they are products of the physical realm. You can judge any feelings you have as being from the Universe and the Divine or from your physical self by the fruits (what Paul described as "fruits of the spirit": "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.") I hope you aren't put off by references to contemplatives or mystics in any of the traditions. Referring to Buddha, Jesus, Paul, Lao Tze, St. John of the Cross, Rumi or any of the other mystics doesn't imply following the restrictive theologies of the churches that grew up around their teachings. They were listeners to the voice of God.

I noticed that in your RV test you used coordinates for the images. How do you determine what coordinates to use and how are they applied to viewing a specific event, place, and time?

The coordinates aren't meaningful. They could be anything. They're just a way to let your intention ask the Universe to know about something out of the billions of things in the physical realm. They just give your intention focus. I can focus on a table in someone's home, even though I don't know where they live or anything about the table. People have used the number coordinates of geographic locations. You can use anything that will let your intention know what it is you want to focus on. The numbers just focus on whatever it is they're associated with.

Love and peace, Craig
